John Pentasuglia designed a custom home that was constructed
in Portsmouth New Hampshire. The requirements were for all of the living quarters
to be on one floor, with the potential for extra separate space for their growing
children in their teens. The client had a limited budget. As a result, the focus
was on providing for comfort and enjoyment of the interior space as a first
priority. Another requirement was that the living space and bedrooms needed
to have some separation. This is indeed a challenge in a ranch style design.
We accomplished all of these requirements within the indicated budget much to
